    Services for External Users & Visitors to the M6L

 

Access and Rules 

  • General Rules 

    • The Mohammed VI Library is open by request to outside national and international researchers who may access its facilities and use its resources. They can submit a request for access, instructions for which can be found in the M6L Visitors Policy. 

    • All users of the AUI Library should respect generally accepted norms of good behavior towards their fellow users, the library staff, and library property. We recommend you review the M6L General Rules and Regulations

    • Smoking is prohibited inside all AUI Buildings

    • Food and drinks, except bottled water are not allowed in the Library beyond the M6L Café Space.

    • Please have mobile phone conversations outside the library.

    • Mohammed VI Library rule violators may incur a fine of 200 DH.

  • E-Resources 

  • External users may ask M6L Librarians on site on how to access E-Resources

  • Print Collections

    • Book stacks are available for on-site use by external users without limitation.

    • For Access to the M6L Archives & Special Collections, external users should submit a request to circulation@aui.ma in advance of their visit.

  • Photocopying and Printing 

    • Photocopying & Printing services are not currently available for external users.

  • Borrowing 

    • External Users may access the Library and use all the resources on site. External users have no borrowing rights. 

  • Use of Computers 

    • External users may request access at the Circulation Desk to the desktop computers in the M6L Computer Lab on the first floor.

Library hours for External Users

  • External users  can access the Mohammed VI Library facilities from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00.  

  • N.B. Library hours are extended during exam periods and reduced during breaks, intersessions, on holidays and during summer sessions. 

  • External users are allowed to access the Library only twice a week.
