A practicum course that applies leadership and management theory to personal leadership skill development and to the setting up of management development programs for organizations. It includes leadership skills, teamwork and team-building, conflict resolution, negotiation, interpersonal communication, and cross-cultural communication skills. HRD 4304 explains in detail the consulting process, the roles of both internal and external consultants and emphasizes the skills they should hold to be effective. It covers also the concepts and challenges of the consulting profession aiming at preparing students for guiding organizations toward improving human performance
