Introduction

"This course aims at teaching students principles and mechanisms used to secure computers connected to networks, and to the Internet. It build extensively on Cryptography and Network concepts. It covers standard protocol flaws, attacks, as well as major controls used to secure networks and the Internet. The course also covers the important issue of access control, remote authentication, single sign on, intrusion detection, firewalls, VPNs. A BIG part of the ILOs will be achieved through learning by doing in miniprojects and extensive reading."
