Introduction

This course introduces the engineering student to the thermal sciences - thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and heat transfer.Topics covered include the first and second laws of thermodynamics; volumetric properties of pure fluids; heat effects; application to flow processes; power cycles; refrigeration.
