"Havana is a city which is clearly, Caribbean, American, with European and African influences. It is a city, which, is perhaps, more human in its glory, tumultuousness, magic, and its ability to transform.
In this course, students will be required to engage in the city of Havana through lectures via response papers, presentations, and finally a six to ten page essay due upon their return from Havana."
