This course provides a survey of the principles of human geography

Introduction

This course provides a survey of the principles of human geography. Students are initiated to the basic concepts required for the spatial analysis of social phenomena, including notions of scale and cartographic representation. Global systems and patterns are approached with a view to understanding current social issues such as development, migration and the environment.
